I have been anxious and had fears about going to the dentist since I was young. I made a last minute appointment with Dr. Davis due to an emergency dental issue. I was super hesitant to go but she eased all of my concerns and made the visit comfortable for me. I have been seeing Dr. Davis for over a year now and absolutely LOVE her! The entire staff is great. “I would classify myself as a dentist’s nightmare. I am afraid of dentists, have ultra sensitive teeth and a low tolerance for pain. After years of neglecting myself in order to ensure the good dental health of my children, my teeth started to disintegrate two years ago. I grew up in a rural area; and as a child my dental work was more focused on repair than prevention. I started looking for a dentist by talking to people at work and family members. I was driving east on Midlothian Turnpike one day and saw a sign advertising Davis Dental Group. I called and made an appointment. I was totally overwhelmed with the initial evaluation of all the things that would need to be done. That same afternoon I got a call from the technician encouraging me to come back and get the work done. She was so kind that I made another appointment. The rest is history. Dr. Julia Davis and her staff have been a Godsend to me. Dr. Davis is patient, explains everything that needs to be done, is sensitive to the needs of her individual patients and is accessible. This patience and understanding from her and her staff has gotten me through several crowns, fillings, and a whitening treatment. Her referral to an excellent oral surgeon and her coordination with him has resulted in a successful implant. My teeth have been stabilized and are beautiful. Davis Dental Group has flexible hours—I can go after work. But best of all, I am no longer afraid of the dentist.
